Destroy Your Dissertation (2018)

10.00

In a collaborative effort to teach Risograph, Etta Voorsanger-Brill and Indiana Lawrence ran a workshop to introduce Graphic Design, Central Saint Martins students to Riso techniques. Using the leftover printed matter from their dissertations each student made an A3 collage which we then printed at Rabbit's Road Press. They bound all of the collages together and created a publication called Destroy Your Dissertation. Using a pre-determined formula each collage was printed on top of another students so we were able to create unexpected collaborations. They went off site to Rabbit's Road Press and printed using the Risograph, limiting their palette to fluorescent orange, fluorescent pink and black. This project was a great example of using Riso to very quickly make a publication that was collaborative.
